There is still one season we haven’t talked about, and that’s the Season of Wind 2023! The latter was canceled due to some management issues, here’s what it was originally supposed to look like:

The Season of Wind 2023 was supposed to be the biggest update to the project! Some of this content was later reused for other seasons, while other content was completely discarded.
– Originally, the Splatune MF album was supposed to contain all the songs from the history and all the previous bands. In the final version, it was split into 5 albums (Volume 1, 2, S1, S2, and 3).
– The Salmon Run tournament was supposed to be a tournament in which players in teams of 4 competed to get the most eggs in a given work scenario.
– The Starboard was supposed to serve as an archive of the best moments on our Discord server.

Shades of Flambè
Let’s now talk about Marine Flambè’s signature song: Shades of Flambè
Initially, this song was an “experiment” by the music director (MiK) because he was trying to create a song similar to Anarchy Rainbow in terms of structure, while still making it original.
The very first experiment dates back to October 2022 (approximately), and this was its form at that time (after the file was dusted off in March 2023):
Following March 2023, for the chorus we were initially inspired by this… broken-down version of the chorus from Anarchy Rainbow:
